Nichoel Kimmerle, MFT
Certified EMDR Therapist in California
Whether you’ve experienced a chaotic childhood, abuse as an adolescent, secondary trauma at work, or a horrible accident, the pain from trauma lingers in a distinct way. It seeps into our bodies and we feel it in our muscles and bones; it’s isolating, scary, and often misunderstood.
Unlike other forms of therapy, which merely treat the symptoms of trauma, EMDR can help heal the root of your discomfort, allowing the symptoms to naturally decrease or even stop.
I know it might feel like life won’t get better. But it can. I’ve helped hundreds of clients recover from traumatic experiences, using EMDR, enabling them to lead normal and happy lives again.
Start to enjoy life again.
Symptoms of Trauma
Depression, anxiety, flashbacks, and nightmares are all common symptoms of trauma. Many of my clients notice difficulty sleeping, concentrating, and problems in their relationships as well.
What is EMDR?
EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and it’s a leading method for treating the negative psychological effects of traumatic experiences.
